Don't give up. First i said about my iphone. I renamed the "hosts" file in etc folder… such as "renamhosts" and I also added the 22.214.171.124 gs.apple.com in that file. continue as the post says. weblink

Try using an older version of iTunes (10.x) and repeat the process. You would not BELIVE the number of hours ive tried to this cauz of a failed jailbreak.
