I tried it and i receive a message after rebooting stating that the uninstall was unsuccessful. So is there any way to repair or reset IE9 without uninstalling it? Social Sharing Find TechSpot on... Good advice when installing anything, just that who has the time to do it. Source

And yes I could use Firefox (and I do) but I need IE9 as some of the multiplayer games I play need to contact their servers using IE9. This constantly crashes no matter what add-ons you disable. We'll look at some of the things that can cause IExplore.exe to crash, and steps you can take. When IE9 was finally released, I'd hoped it would resolve the sluggishness inherent in IE8, so I installed it.

This may take some time... Just a few glitches with applications.
