I tried just about every online advisory and youtube video on this, and nothing did the trick. Go back to the msconfig Services tab, make sure Hide all Microsoft services is still checked and then check only the top half of the services boxes.  Click OK, reboot and Uninstall and re-install Java Player for the Internet Explorer browser.
