Edit: in my real application I have re-written the directive to not to look on element's text and modify that, but rather pass the input text via attribute, and works fine Am I doing something wrong? I agree, it seems to work as it should (the first example) except for all the errors. However, this seems to work in browsers like Chrome or FF, but fails in IE. Source
