I have tried increasing the network settings file sizes in wordpress network dashboard, I have tried putting various php5.ini files in the root folder and in other folders also, I have But my customer will refuse to go to another site to view his photos, not to mention having Picasa logos etc. (I have never had difficulty with WP Image uploader myself).
